UC: Record Number of Applications

The number of high school seniors applying for fall 2015 freshman admission to the University of California rose by 6.5 percent over last year, the eleventh consecutive year of record high number of applicants. The overall number of transfer applications to UC was up by 2.6 percent over the fall 2014 cycle. All in all, UC received a total of 193,873 applications for fall 2015.
