Great news! A new tuition calculator has just been launched to help students and families figure out the actual cost of some prestigious private colleges. “Myintuition” is the work of a Wellesley College economist named Phillip Levine. It’s an anonymous, user-friendly tool which allows you calculate the costs at the following participating colleges:
Amherst, Bowdoin, Carleton, Colorado College, Columbia, Dartmouth, Mt. Holyoke, Pomona, Rice, The University of Virginia, Vassar, Washington and Lee, Wellesley, Wesleyan and Williams.
Here is the link: MyinTuition
- Requires 6 or 7 questions
- Requires basic financial information that most people know
- No need to refer to tax records
- Takes the average user just 3 minute to complete
- Great for use early in the application process
Now families will have a better sense of what they will pay and what they can afford.
With the new SAT test date in August, new additional Common Application essay questions, this new tool and my guidance, the college application process promises to go more smoothly. I look forward to the next application cycle!Share
