Individual Meetings: I’ll review your student’s academic history, extracurricular activities, and special talents/interests so we can identify appropriate schools of interest. We’ll create a workable, realistic college plan that suits your child. In addition, I’ll provide a timeline, a plan for SAT/ACT test preparation, and create a checklist. Students will receive a summary after each meeting. In between meetings, I’ll speak with admission officers, update the checklist and calendar, evaluate sports camps, summer plans, etc. In subsequent meetings, the student and I will work to shape his/her application into a strong, compelling, organized and individual presentation. Meetings are conducted in person, via Skype or over the phone.
“The guidance of Ms. Christine was so smooth and helpful that, to our surprise, our son got admission in a top-rated business school 9 days after submission of his application. Ms. Christine helped us to shortlist the 10 best universities out of thousands universities in the USA, find out the requirements of those universities, edited essays to impress admission counselors and checked applications before submission to universities. I have already recommended Ms. Christine to some of my friends and I recommend to everybody who reads this post to use the services of Ms. Christine.” S. Guar, CFO Gulf Electronic Tawasul, Kuwait
Transfer Students: The path of a transfer student differs slightly from that of a high school senior. When transferring into a four year school or moving on from a community college, students face unique hurdles and challenges. We’ll cover everything you need to ensure a smooth transition to your new school.
“When I decided to transfer to the University of Georgia, Athens, I knew I needed help. Christine helped me with all of the small details and my transfer went perfectly! Thanks, Christine!” Justin B.
Post-Grads: We’ll put together all application requirements, create a timeline and work to increase the probability of your admission to your target schools.
Educational Consulting: Looking for a new public or private school for your middle or high school student? As a parent of both public and private school children in Sonoma and Marin counties, I have expertise in helping you identify the right program for your child. With so many wonderful school choices in the North Bay, it may be hard to determine which program makes the most sense. I can help. Applying to private school is much like applying to college, with applications, essays, the SSAT, and visits to complete. In our consultations, we will identify the best schools for your child based on academics, location, cost, and extra curricular activities, then discuss the admissions or transfer process.
